Jamie is one of the top ranked lightweights in the world and former WEC lightweight champion. He has a professional record is 16-3. Many may not know that Jamie is one of the best teachers in the U.S. too. He is our head MMA instructor and develops the programs and teaches our instructors how to execute these programs. When not training at his fight camp Jamie will be here giving seminars and teaching classes.

Anthony Giacchina

Anthony is an amateur MMA fighter and kickboxer. Currently his record is 1-2 in MMA and 2-0 in kickboxing. Anthony is well rounded in every aspect of the game and has no preference when it comes to standing up and taking it to the ground. With a few years of training under his belt, he is working his way to becoming a professional MMA and has become one of the top conditioned athletes out there.

Anthony also works at the academy and teaches striking and MMA.

Welcome to Varner’s Combat Academy. We are one of the largest MMA training facilities in the North East. Nick is our BJJ instructor. He has been training for several years and started out as a high school wrestler. He has competed at Naga and has 2 first place victories.

Anthony Decristofaro

Anthony is our wrestling instructor. He is a two time Florida State champion. He has been wrestling and teaching for over 6 years. He had a career record of 126-19 and was a Greco Roman national qualifier in 1999 and 2000.
